Not a Single Thing

You look with slanted view,
never truly seeing what’s you.
You hate your eyes,
your nose and lips,
each strand of hair too.
You hate your body,
you hate your skin,
let’s not forget your teeth.
You pick yourself apart
at each mirror’s pass,
never seeing the beauty that I view.
There’s not a single part
that I don’t love,
if only you saw it too.
Don’t change a thing.
Not your hair or teeth or lips,
don’t disguise your eyes or your skin.
Leave your nose, as it is
along with every other part of you.
Look through my eyes,
and see your beauty
that shines from inside too.

Prompt: Don’t Change a Thing
